FAST believes that everyone should learn how to swim. It is fun and a very important life skill.
FAST is one of the premier USA swimming teams in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex with swimmers competing in the past two Olympic Games. We are now offering a comprehensive swim lessons program that is the best value in Tarrant County. Our lesson schedule and prices are listed below.
SwimAmerica is the preeminent learn-to-swim system in the US. It was developed and is promoted by the America Swim Coaches Association (ASCA), the most prestigious coaches association in the world. There are 3 levels: Toddler (ages 6 mo-2 years old), Pre-School (ages 3-5), and School Age (6-17). Adults are also welcome. For more information go to: Swim America FAQ
We are able to provide lessons for those who are just learning to swim and also for those experienced swimmers wanting to work on the finer points of individual strokes. Ages three to adult are welcome and we also offer a ParentTot group.

Once you have submitted your request we will let you know availability within 24 hours.
Beginning September 7, 2010 any registration of monthly or semester duration includes a free T-shirt, Finis H2 goggles and swim cap for kids 13 and under. In order to accommodate busy school schedules and to serve your swimming needs we are offering classes by the month. You can register for classes once per week, twice per week, or 4 times per week. All lessons are 30 minutes.
To register for a session:
1. Create an account at the "Create an Account" button below.
2. Select the pool & schedule you want by going to the PROGRAM tab.
3. Pick a day or days you want for your lesson. Choices are:
A. Once per week on Mondays or Tuesdays or Wednesdays or Thursdays.
B. If you want 2 x per week (say Monday & Wednesday) register for both days at the time you want.
C. If you want 4 x per week register for all 4 days at the time you want.
4. Pick a term you want to come. Select a month or months (see list below).
5. Please give one of 4 basic skill levels under "Notes":
A. Beginner 1 (afraid of water and/or no experience).
B. Beginner 2 (likes water, but cannot swim).
C. Intermediate (comfortable in water and swims some freestyle).
D. Advanced (needs some or all of other 3 strokes).
A confirmation will be emailed to you by the Friday preceding the start of the session. There are not enough students to "fill" your class and other arrangements cannot be made you will receive a full refund within 1 week of notice.
Holidays follow the Ft Worth ISD and Tarrant County holiday calendar for the year.
Prices vary depending whether you register for 1 day, 2 days or 4 days per week or if you want group, semi-private or private lessons. See the options below for different months, days in a month and prices.
Group lessons by the month (3 to 4 students per instructor).
1. Once per week. 4 lessons in a month $50
2. Twice per week. 8 lessons in a month $100
NOTE: Some months have more of one day than another. See specific months below; therefore M/W prices may differ from T/Th prices.
3. When starting in mid month the prices are prorated per lesson.
Group lessons are available in each time slot when ever there are 3 student to fill the class.
Private and Semi-private lessons are also available upon request. See prices below
Semi-private lessons by the month (2 students per instructor).
1. Once per week. 4 lessons in a month $70.
2. Twice per week. 8 lessons in a month $140.
3. 4 times per week. 16 lessons in a month $280.
Private lessons by the month (1 on 1 with an instructor):
1. Once per week. 4 lessons in a month $140.
2. Twice per week. 8 lessons in a month $280.
3. 4 times per week. 16 lessons in a month $550.
Individual private lessons (single lessons): $50 per lesson schedule permitting (no cap, goggles & shirt).
