Q: How and when did you decide to become a swimmer?
A: I decided arbitrarily on a whim, but it is a sport I’ve always been interested in.
Q: What does the sport of swimming mean to you and what would you say if you were told that you can’t swim anymore?
A: Swim is a fun way to engage in physical activity and competition daily.
Q: Who is your biggest supporter?
A: My mom
Q: Are there any athletes that inspire you the most and why?
A: Honestly, I don’t know most swimmers very well, so not particularly.
Q: Did you ever swim an event at meet that you did not like and how did you handle it?
A: Yes, I sucked it up and did it anyway.

Q: How has swimming impacted your social life and how do you deal with it?
A: I have a nickname at swim that I’m not super fond of, but I’ve learned to deal with it.
Q: What is your favorite and least event at a swim meet?
A: My favorite is the 200 breast and the least favorite is the 500 free.
Q: Are there any lessons you have learned, other than swimming, since you became a swimmer?
A: Perseverance...if at first you don’t succeed try again...and again...and again...and again.

Q: What do you like to do outside of swimming?
A: Reading, hunting, school, church, handbells, eating
Q: What are you dreams or goals for the future in swimming?
A: I would like to break 30 seconds on my 50 free and 50 fly, break 40 seconds on my 50 breaststroke, and complete 50 underwaters in a row.
