Sounds simple, and it is, at first. However, to swim efficient and FAST breaststroke takes patience, practice, and an out-of-ordinary focus on technique details. The breaststroke pull has 4 general parts (outsweep, catch, insweep, recovery). The breaststroke kick has 3 general parts (upkick, ankle/foot flex, back/downkick). And for a swimmer to maximize his/her glide, the TIMING of the pull and kick must be precise. How does my swimmer move up? Our group promotion standards are your guide to growing and graduating!
